
Rebecca Boswell is an artist living and working outside Boston.
For more than fifteen years, Rebecca worked as a classroom teacher in the Providence, RI area. Her arts instruction work has included teaching poetry-based painting, portraiture, stop-motion watercolor, and comics. Rebecca began her career in education through the NYC Teaching Fellows program, earning her M.Ed from Brooklyn College while teaching at P.S. 273 in Brooklyn.
Originally from Indiana, Rebecca has a certificate in graphic design from Rhode Island School of Design. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University, where she was a studio art/art history major. She was part of the buying committee for the Mark H. Reece Collection of Student-Acquired Contemporary Art and was awarded the Richter Fellowship, completing an artist residency in Tokyo, Japan.
Rebecca has exhibited at Galapagos Gallery in Brooklyn and was a guest curator at Artist’s Space Gallery in New York.
